 DL403 and DL404 are both double sided laminates used with the Xyron 2500.  Although the 403 product is considered a general purpose laminate, it does not work with direct thermal paper such as those with the Varitronics® poster printers, Fujifilm ProImage® 3000 series or MCSI / Minnesota Western Chart printers. The adhesive on the 403 reacts with the chemicals in the thermal paper causing it to fade to white over a very short period.  The 404 product has a neutral adhesive that will not cause any fading.  Therefore, if you are using one of the direct thermal poster printers described above, you must use the 404 product.  We stock both products.   For questions, please feel free to call us at 800-321-5716
